Reporting to the Manager of Software Development, the Senior .Net Developer/Coach will be taking on the following duties/responsibilities: OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES:The Development Coach will be responsible for the coaching and mentoring of developers within our development team. Working 1-on-1 with each developer, the Coaches will provide expert guidance as the developer works on their assigned development tasks. The Development Coach will instruct the developer using best practices in design, frameworks, and coding style. The Development Coach and the developer will work together on application design and development initiatives that will range in size and complexity. The Development Coach will be reporting to the Software Development Manager on a daily basis and through the production of bi-weekly progress reports.  QUALIFICATIONS:The successful candidate absolutely must be able to articulate their expert experience to other developers, of varying skill levels, in a mentoring/coaching capacity.  This is critical to the success of this position.  This requirement applies to all of the qualifications below:Expert (5+ years) in CNET  (ideally using an MVC/MVVM framework where applicable) Expert (5+ years) in development of web applications (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Expert (5+ years) Oracle experience and PL/SQL Intermediate (3+ years) in leading teams, either in a management role or as a lead developer Intermediate (3+ years) using TFS and Visual Studio (VS2013 and TFS 2013 experience preferable) Intermediate (3+ years) integrating systems using Web Services (WebAPI, REST) Nice to have experience working on large scale, enterprise-level applications Nice to have experience with ExtJS and development on mobile platforms Must possess exceptional problem solving skills and a systematic approach to decision making, taking into consideration the impact of each decision Must be able to present technical options and alternatives Must have excellent oral and written skills Requires a unique blend of design, development, and technical skills along with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a demonstrated ability to lead and a demonstrated proficiency for problem solving ABOUT THE IAN MARTIN GROUP Founded in 1957, the Ian Martin Group is one of North America's leading consulting and project recruitment firms.
